Green Yoga delivers friendly yoga classes in Glasgow, Paisley, Houston, Kilmacolm and online.
Founded by me, Janis Green, a Hatha yoga teacher, Green Yoga offers courses designed for all levels of fitness and yoga experience.
Yoga, derived from the ancient Sanksrit word ‘yuji’, meaning yolk or union, is an ancient practice that brings together body and mind and very much has a place in today’s, increasingly stressful, world.
I’ve been teaching yoga since 2004 and have travelled extensively to further my yoga practise, having trained and taught in India and Canada. I’m Yoga Scotland qualified, have a British Wheel of Yoga Diploma in Yoga Pregnancy and trained with the Institute of Yoga Sport Science.
I run regular, fun and friendly group classes as well as tailored, one to one tuition.
Yoga can increase strength, reduce stress and improve your physical and mental health. So why not come for a workout, body and soul?

I have been attending Green Yoga for several years not in class, online and weekend workshops. Janis is a brilliant instructor very helpful, classes are very relaxed and friendly and welcoming. Quality instruction during classes great with adaptations available if people have injuries etc. Great all round class for beginners and more experienced

This yoga class is a perfect balance of breath work, strength work and work to improve flexibility. Janis is a great teacher and makes everyone feel very welcome.
